These are the perfect scratchers for cats who prefer a vertical scratching surface, especially in apartments or other spaces where floor space is at a premium. They hang from any doorknob or low-placed sturdy hook on the wall.
Kitty will love the corrugated cardboard scratching surface, while you’ll love the fancy Valentine’s Day pattern on the sides! Two patterns to choose from, as shown, Hearts or Love Bug.

Providing your cat with vertical scratching surfaces is a great way to train them to scratch only in appropriate places. Declawing amputates your cat’s fingers at the first joint, changing the cat’s walking gait and possibly leading to litter box avoidance, extreme pain, arthritis and other complications later in life. But if you provide kitty with appropriate alternatives, there’s no need to mutilate those paws!
