This wild little fellow hangs from his bob tail as the pendant’s bail. His coat pattern is everything you would expect with a natural ticked pattern.
He is cast from solid 14k gold, approximately 1.75 inches long. The Bobcat is custom carved, individually cast and hand finish. Also available in .925 sterling silver.
Is your school mascot a bobcat? Even better!
About the Artist: American artist Kay Fazio has been creating beautiful cat jewelry in 14kt gold and sterling silver since 1999. Her very first piece was a Bengal cat pendant for herself to honor “Sterling”, her own Bengal. Kay is passionate about her cats, and knowledgeable about the features of breeds. In her jewelry, you’ll not only see those details, but hints at that breed’s personality. The details are exquisite, with each hair of the coat in place. The cats’ captivating facial expressions will capture your heart!
About Bobcats: The bobcat, or lynx, is a North American wild cat. About twice as large as a regular house cat, they have a whiskered face, spotted coat, and the distinctive tufts of black hair at the tops of their ears known as “lynx tips”. The cat’s name comes from its stubby, black-tipped tail. The bobcat appears in folklore and mythology of Native Americans and European settlers on the American continent.
Be aware that this is hand-crafted jewelry and the artist will make it after you place your order. These are not sitting around in a warehouse somewhere waiting to be shipped. Depending on her workload at the time she receives the order, it may take up to a month for you to receive your pendant. If you have a gift-giving occasion approaching, order quickly!
