Kay FazioSoftspoken jewelry artist Kay Fazio makes a big statement with her cat jewelry! The owner of both a Bengal and a Savannah cat, Kay is passionate about cat breeds and puts her creative talents to good use in crafting beautifully detailed pendants, charms, and earrings depicting not only the breeds' show standards, but little aspects of their personalities, as well. She started making her jewelry in 1999, with a pendant made as a sort of portrait for her Bengal cat, Sterling. She's shown here getting a cuddle from her Savannah cat, Judah. Kay's jewelry is done in 14k gold and .925 sterling silver. Many pieces are set with genuine gemstones in the eyes and/or spots, which you can match to the color of your own cat's eyes. You'll delight in any of Fazio's jewelry, whether bought for yourself or as a gift!

Linda HuffmanOil painter, cartoonist, and fused glass artist Linda Huffman has been working out of her studio in Everett, Washington since 1992. She began making her memory pendants in 2001. They are constructed with dichroic glass and Argentium Sterling silver. Linda makes each one by hand, including some of the ashes or hair of your departed pet.
Says Linda, "I absolutely love the feel of the glass & often find myself reaching up and stroking the pendant I wear (very similar to rubbing a worry stone, the glass is very soothing). In February of 2003, our sweet boxer girl, Daisy passed away. I was inconsolable for several weeks and would find myself patting the wooden box that contains her crematory ashes. It was somewhat comforting to have her nearby. Then I decided to make myself a cremation keepsake with a bit of Daisy's crematory ash fused into the glass. I totally fell in love with the idea of having such a beautiful keepsake that I could wear. Now, whenever I'm having a particularly bad day or find myself stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, I can reach up and stroke my pendant. It's a bit like having my Daisy girl with me. I feel a tremendous sense of well-being knowing that I can offer this service to others who have lost their soul mate, loved one, family member, very special friend or cherished pet." About OldMaidCatLady.comWe're a small business, founded by a genuine old maid cat lady who loves her cat the same as if she were her child, just like you do yours. All products are shipped directly to you from our suppliers; we don't maintain any inventory. This eliminates double shipping, warehousing and staffing that would drive up costs, allowing us to price our items as reasonably as possible. When it comes to shipping, we charge you only what our suppliers charge us to ship the items to you. Those retailers who offer you "free" shipping are only raising their prices to cover the cost of shipping, and we'd rather be honest with you about it. If our suppliers include shipping in the prices of the items, we offer the same to you. We try to treat all our customers the way we'd like to be treated ourselves, and appreciate your taking the time to get to know us a little. If you'd like to know more, click on the "About Us" link in the menu.
