Did you know? Re-soiling of carpets and furniture in the same spots is listed as the main reason people surrender animals to shelters. Cats will return to a spot that smells like a potty (because they've previously used it as one) to use it again. Even enzymatic cleaners cannot remove all traces of previous accidents. We may think a spot is clean because it looks and smells okay to us, but cats can still smell the pheromones left behind. A pheromone cannot be neutralized.
