Shy, sensitive Patience Philips (Halle Berry) can’t stop apologizing for her own existence. Her employer, Hedare Beauty, is about to release a revolutionary new anti-aging product. But when Patience stumbles across a dark corporate secret, a near-death experience transforms her into a feline-like woman with strength, speed, agility, and keen senses -- Catwoman!
Dangerous, elusive, and untamed, her balancing act between good and bad is complicated by the romantic attentions of police officer Tome Lone and a villain whose face has become marbelized from toxic moisturizer.
Blu-Ray HD-DVD of this 2004 film contains behind the scenes footage. Widescreen.
A caveat: This movie is reportedly extremely bad, with stale dialog and poorly crafted details. It’s supposedly so bad that it’s funny. The writing, acting, directing...pretty much every aspect of it is awful. That said, some have reported, “It wasn’t as bad as they all said!” And others watched it just to see Halle Berry in the Catwoman suit. But it was a box office flop and got only negative reviews. So consider yourself forewarned!
Rated PG-13 for action violence & some sensuality.
IMDB rating: 3.2 out of 10 stars.
