This matte measures 12" x 7.5". Comes unframed, for you to frame to your own taste. The supplier suggests that you not purchase a frame until you receive your picture, as the matte sizes may vary slightly.
There are twelve pictures of different cats in this full set. Choose from the following breeds (as shown below) to make your piece unique:
- Japanese Bobtail
- Brown Tabby
- British Blue Shorthair
- Black and White
- Calico Longhair
- American Shorthair
- Oriental Tabby
- Brown Norwegian Forest Cat
- British Shorthair Tabby
- Ragdoll
- Manx
- Black Persian
Each card measures 2-3/8 in. x 3-1/8 in. Mount is acid-free to protect the cards from deterioration over time. Landscape-oriented card sets also available in set of 12.
About cigarette cards: Cigarette manufacturers began using trading cards to reinforce their packaging and advertiser their brands around 1875. Smokers would try to collect a complete set of 25-50 or more cards in various subject themes. The practice was discontinued in the 1940s to conserve paper during World War II, and never returned until R.J. Reynolds introduced a line for its Doral brand in 2000.
